The Clara School Reading Fair will be held on Thursday, November 14th. All projects will need to be brought to school on Wednesday, November 13th. Please click on the appropriate links below to access guidelines for completing a project.
Below is the information for which grades require projects to be completed.
7th & 8th
7th and 8th are required to complete a project, but they have the option of choosing a tri-fold board to be entered into the fair OR a poster board to be turned in for class. All will be given a major test grade.
5th & 6th
All 5th & 6th graders are required to do a project either on a poster board or on a tri-fold board. Students will receive 2 grades: one for the information sheet completed in class on October 9 and one for the final project.
Students must have read their books and must bring their books to class on October 9.
Reading fair projects for 4th grade are OPTIONAL. Students who do complete a reading fair project will receive two 100's (ONE MINOR, ONE MAJOR).
Third Grade - Students are not required to complete a project,but we will replace the lowest reading grade during second nine weeks with a 100 if your child completes a reading fair project
All 2nd grade- not required but kids will receive a 100 minor grade for participating.
2nd grade will complete a dress-up book report at some point, so they could do the same book.
It is not required in first grade but they will receive a 100 if they complete a project.
Mrs. Donza: not required but students will receive an extra 100 Reading Major Test Grade
