WRS recognizes MAAP advanced, proficient scorers

An awards ceremony was held recently to recognize students at Waynesboro Riverview
School who scored advanced and proficient on the spring state tests (MAAP).
Shronda Turner, WRS supervising principal, presented certificates to each student as they
were called forward by Jacklyn Jones, a fifth and sixth grade teacher. Virginia Everett, an
inclusion teacher, led in the pledge and gave the invocation. Assistant Principal Eric Holland
assisted in the ceremony. Calah Powe  received special recognition for earning a perfect score on the ELA assessment.
