Students in Buckatunna's Jr. Beta Club have been busy with many activities over the past few weeks.
Buckatunna’s third graders ventured to the Waynesboro Library on November 5, 2015. Students participated in a simulated theater experience by viewing “Muppets Most Wanted.” Students ended their field trip with lunch at the park.
Students in Mrs. Beard's 4th grade science class have been learning about the different systems of the human body. The students participated in several activities to gain a more hands-on unerstanding of how the body works.
On October 30, students in grades K-4 enjoyed dressing up and collecting treats during Buckatunna's annual Trunk-or-Treat.
Students of the Month for August and September were recently recognized and rewarded with medals and a pizza party. The students were chosen for demonstrating responsibility in August and respect in September. We are very proud of these students! Click to see a list of the students who received these awards.
The seventh grade class of Buckatunna School enjoyed participating in the Mississippi Hunters' Ed program. This course is offered every year to this age group of students at Buckatunna School in the requirement of state laws in preparing for Youth Hunting Day and their future hunting license.
