I am Mr. Reynolds and I am a Social Studies teacher at Wayne County High School. This is my first year teaching and I am thrilled at the opportunity to teach some of the best and brightest that Mississippi has to offer. I was born and raised in East Texas in a small town called Gladewater. I did live for a short time in Laurel as a young boy when my dad was working in the oil field and always felt a special connection to this part of the South. I love football and am currently working on the varsity footbal staff. Go War Eagles! After graduating high school I lived overseas in Russia for a few years doing missionary work where I fell in love with the culture and the people. Whenver I returned to the U.S. I decided to major in Russian in college. I graduated from the University of Texas, Arlington with a B.A. in Russian and worked in the translation industry for just over three years until I felt the call to become a teacher. I recently completed the alternate route programe at USM. I am married and have two beautiful daughters. One who is 2 and one who is 6 months old.
