I am a Waynesboro native. While attending JCJC after high school graduation, I began serving as a church pastor. While serving that church, I completed my education at William Carey College and New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. I continued to pastor churches for twenty years. While pastoring, I also had an opportunity to teach some college courses; consequently, I was inspired to return to my high school and work with students here. This is my twenty-fourth year as a language arts teacher.
I am married to Jill O'Dom, who is a counselor at WCHS. Our four adult children are scattered in Tallahassee, Florida; Hattiesburg; and Memphis, Tennessee. We have a precious grandchild in Hattiesburg.
When I am not teaching, you are most likely to find me sitting around my grill with family and friends, watching sports, or sitting on a beach.
If I can be service to you, please email me or call WCHS to schedule a time to meet.
