Planning Period: 4th Block
I have been teaching Compensatory classes at Wayne County High School since August 1991. I have also taught GED classes for Jones Junior College. I received my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from the University of Southern Mississippi and my master's degree in Mild/Moderate Disabilities from William Carey University. In addition, I have certification to teach English 7-12.
In 2011 I was named Wayne County District's Most Distinguished Teacher of the Year. I have also received the McDonald's Award for Teachers on several occasions.
Daily attendance is a must in order for students to succeed. Feel free to contact the school in order to make arrangements for parent/teacher conferences if needed.
