During the 2016-2017 school year at WCHS I will be working with ACT Prep as an inclusion teacher. I like working with the students in this capacity as I have more-one-on one time with them. My aim is to help students be more successful in their academic progress at WCHS. I am also doing inclusion for the Algebra I class.
In January of 2014 I began working as an inclusion teacher in the algebra classes at WCHS. I really enjoy working with the studets in this capacity.
I teach Occupational Diploma Math I, II, & III at Wayne County High School. I attended school at Clara when it was a high school and graduated with a high school diploma. I graduated from Jones County Community College with an AA degree, and attended University of Southern Mississippi and graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree. I attended USM a second time and graduated with a Masters Degree in education.
I encourage parents to check out math games on the internet at home or at the public library. Card games are a good way to sharpen math skills. Games such as UNO and many others present many opportunities to practice basic math skills. One online game called Times Attack is an excellent way to practice multiplication tables while playing a video game.
