MONDAY

 

TTW: Draw and compare the different types of macromolecules.

TSW: complete a booklet to compare macromolecules.

TSW: be divided into groups with different ability levels to evaluate the different 

types of macromolecules. Students will be asked to read to each other about the 

different macromolecules and prepare a lesson to teach to the class.

TUESDAY

Test on macromolecules

Identify the components of an ecosystem and compare the different types of living 

relationships in an ecosystem.

*Understand methods used to study ecology.

*Explain how biotic and abiotic factors influence an ecosystem.

*Identify levels of organization within an ecosystem.

*Compare producers and consumers and explain their roles within an ecosystem and 

in energy transfer.

*Identify the three types of ecological pyramids.

WEDNESDAY

*Describe how matter cycles among the living and nonliving parts of an ecosystem.

*Describe how water cycles through the biosphere.

*Describe why nutrients are important in living systems.

*Describe how the availability of nutrients affects the productivity of ecosystems.

THURSDAY

*Demonstrate knowledge of food chains and webs.

*Demonstrate knowledge of ecological pyramids.

*Demonstrate knowledge of biogeochemical cycles.

FRIDAY

*Complete test on objectives 3 b and 3 c

*make flash cards on key vocabulary terms for chapters 5 and 6

*Take pretest on biomes and human interactions
