  • The teacher will introduce the Literary Analysis Skill: Shakespeare’s Tragedies; and the Reading Skill: Using text aids in the Shakespearean play “The Tragedy of Julius Caesar.”
  • The student will complete activities associated with the stories including the Reading Check questions in the textbook.
  • The student will complete an exit quiz pertaining to the day’s reading.

 

Tuesday, December 10, 2013

  • The teacher will review the Literary Analysis Skill: Shakespeare’s Tragedies; and the Reading Skill: Using text aids in the Shakespearean play “The Tragedy of Julius Caesar.”
  • The student will complete activities associated with the stories including Critical Thinking and Literary Analysis questions in the textbook.
  • The student will complete an exit quiz pertaining to the day’s reading.

 

Wednesday, December 11, 2013

  • The teacher will review the Literary Analysis Skill: Shakespeare’s Tragedies; and the Reading Skill: Using text aids in the Shakespearean play “The Tragedy of Julius Ceasar.”
  • The student will complete activities associated with the stories including the appropriate All in One workbook pages.
  • The student will complete an exit quiz pertaining to the day’s reading.

 

      Thursday, December 12, 2013

  • The teacher will review the Literary Analysis Skill: Shakespeare’s Tragedies; and the Reading Skill: Using text aids in the Shakespearean play “The Tragedy of Julius Ceasar.”
  • The students will complete an open book test as a review of the literary analysis skills and to check for understanding of the play.
  • The students will view a portion of the movie “The Tragedy of Julius Caesar.”
  • The student will complete an exit quiz pertaining to the day’s viewing.

 

 Friday, December 13, 2013

  • The students will complete a test covering the objectives taught throughout the week.

Enrichment Activities will include activities in which students will analyze indirect characterization of Caesar, analyze characters’ roles in the story, and a reading with questions on the Globe Theater.

Remediation Activities will include a reading of “No Fear Shakespeare” version of “The Tragedy of Julius Caesar.”
