I graduated from Waynesboro Central High School and attended JCJC and USM, where I earned a BS in English. I returned to WCHS and taught English for several years. In 2005, I was given the opportunity to teach Family and Consumer Science classes at the Wayne County Career and Technical Education Center. I enjoyed many years working with students in the FCS classroom; however, in 2015, I completed my Master's Degree in School Counseling and began working as a school counselor in 2016.
My greatest personal joy comes from my family: my husband Gerald and our four adult children, Austin, Shea, Cade, and Audra.
My greatest professional joy comes from watching students succeed, and I treasure the opportunity to contribute to their lives as they move through high school and begin the transition to college or the workforce.
