             Waynesboro Middle School Celebrates

                        Read Across America

 
The National Education Association sponsors Read Across America each year on March 2nd to celebrate the birthday of beloved children's author, Dr. Seuss. As part of a week-long observance of this motivational reading program, the library at Waynesboro Middle School conducted a Dr. Seuss trivia contest. Students were challenged each morning to answer trivia questions about the life and work of Dr. Seuss. Daily winners were: Monday, February 29th, Quentasia Baggett and Myles Kelley; Tuesday, March 1, Marissa Chapman and Jonathan Hoffman; Wednesday, March 2, Kennedi Powe and Emmanuel Chambers; Thursday, March 3, Asia Nelson and Chekevius Gaines; and Friday, March 4, Kyra Banks and Olesha Mayfield.
